Spalted Hickory Wood, Miniature Bird House

Description

This Miniature Bird House was turned using Spalted Hickory Wood. The pattern and coloring of this wood reminded me of a mushroom as I started turning. I turned this one piece bird house to best resemble a mushroom while taking care not to lose the natural pattern or coloring. I am calling this the “SHROOM HUT”. The gold plated stand is not included but can be purchased separately.
